We took the boys to get their pictures today for Memaw's upcoming birthday. They are growing up so fast.

Today we went to Jayden's friend Ella's 3rd birthday party. Jayden had a great time playing at the park and of course eating birthday cake!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was Mother's Day and first we went to Nena's house to work in the yard - Mama took it very easy due to being 8 months pregnant with twins.

Then it was off to Memaw and Paw Paw's for dinner. The boys played in the yard before we ate.

Carpet in the Basement

As many of you know, Daddy and Jayden have been working really hard to get the basement finished before the babies arrive. Today when Papi and Mimi brought Jayden home you would have thought it was Christmas...there was carpet in the basement. Jayden was so excited and ran around like a mad man (hence, the blurry pictures). He just kept yelling, "there is carpet in here and carpet in here" as he ran to each room in the basement.

Big Boy Bed

With the babies soon to arrive we decided it was time to put Jayden in a big boy bed. He has done remarkable in it - yet to get out. It couldn't have gone better and Mama and Daddy couldn't be prouder of our big boy!

Happy 1st Birthday Rainn!

Today we went to a celebration for cousin Rainn's 1st birthday! It was nice to visit with family and friends. Jayden had a lot of fun playing with the other kids - there were lots of them.

Easter Egg Hunts

This morning Mama took him to an Easter Egg Hunt at church. Due to the weather, they held part of the hunt in the nursery at church.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Jayden had a lot of fun coloring Easter eggs for the first time. Then he wanted to leave them out with milk for the Easter bunny - Duh, Santa got milk so the Easter bunny had to have it too.

Minivan Family

Well, its official the Bettorf family had to become a minivan family. With the twins on the way, we just didn't see a more practical choice.

We took Jayden to get his pictures taken this weekend and it was definitely an easy photo shoot. We won't be having easy photo shoots in the very near future once the babies arrive. He looks so grown up in some of these pictures.

Finally at the Park

We finally had a warm enough day that we were able to take Jayden down the street to the park. It was nice for all of us to get out of the house. We couldn't get over how much he has grown up since this past fall, as he was going up all of the steps by himself to the biggest slides there. Our baby is a big boy!!
