Cutting Grass

Tonight Jayden and Dada cut the grass.

Waving to Mama.

Concentrating while driving. Not quite 10 and 2 but not bad for a 1 (almost 2) year old.

Fun at Home

Dada built Jayden a tent tonight so by the end of the night there were all kinds of toys in the tent.

When Jayden doesn't want to play with the hundreds of toys he has, he decides to reorganize the pots and pans.

Cousin Austin's All-Star baseball game

Today Mama, Jayden, Mimi, Nena & Aunt Bear went St. Peters, MO to go to Mama's cousin's Legion All-Star baseball game.

Before the game, we had breakfast with family. It was so nice getting to visit and spend time with them. Due to busy schedules, we don't get to see them enough.

Jayden posing for cousin Lauren.

Enjoying a sucker from Nena at the baseball game.

Cousin Austin in the game!! He got a single and walked during the game. Way to go Austin!

Baby Shower for Mama's Friend

Today we went to Mama's friend Stephanie's baby shower. Jayden was so well behaved that Mama had people coming up and commenting on how good we was. It was so nice to visit with Mama's friends and see all of the cute baby stuff that Stephanie received.

Jayden saying cheese and Colin wondering what is this crazy kid doing.
Again, what are you doing?

Jayden's First Maryville Homecoming

Tonight we took Jayden to his first (last year we were on vacation) Annual Maryville Homecoming. Its Mama and Dada's hometown so we really enjoy seeing our friends and family.

Papi and Jayden - Wow, those fire trucks are loud!!

Mimi and Jayden waving to the clowns.

After the parade, we took the boys to enjoy some carnival rides.

They are wondering...what is this going to do?

Oh, these planes are fun! Jacob is waving the entire time.
Aunt Ashley and Jacob ride a fast ride.
And Mama and Jayden are right behind them trying to shoot them.

4th of July Fireworks a.k.a. "Booms"

On July 3rd, our neigborhood association had fireworks at the lake. We took Jayden (in his jammies) and a blanket down by the lake and watched a preview of what Jayden would see the next night.

On the 4th, Papi, Mimi, Aunt Bear and Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw Bettorf joined us in Troy to watch fireworks.

Of course we had to bring along some sparklers for Jayden while we waited.

Papi and Jayden watching the "Booms".

Jayden constantly rotated laps - here he is with Paw-Paw.

Fun Day with Mama

Mama was off today for the holiday, so we decided to have a "fun day", just Jayden and Mama. We took Jayden's first trip to Grant's Farm. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun.

I don't know who is checking out who more...Jayden or the camel.

Wow, that's a big turtle!
Riding the "horsey".

Feeding the goats their "ba-ba's".

It was a long day. He was out before we were out of the parking lot.
