Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf

Tonight we went over to Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf's for their Christmas celebration. The boys (Jayden & Jacob) had a lot of fun! They both received a lot of fun gifts and had a blast playing on the 4-wheelers (Grandma & Grandpa bought one for the boys for their house so we took Jayden's with us tonight so the boys wouldn't fight over them).

Bettorf Family Christmas

Tonight we went over to Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf's for the Bettorf extended family Christmas. Jayden especially had a good time playing with cousin Jacob and second cousin Reese (she is 6 weeks older than Jayden).

Reese decided to give Jayden a lift on the rocking horse.

Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf came to visit

Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf stopped by tonight as Jayden was playing with his new toys.

Giebe Christmas Afternoon

After Jayden got a quick nap, we went over to Papi and Mimi's for Christmas.

Here is Jayden looking at Papi who stole his hat.

Dada napping on Jayden's new chair/bed.

Santa came to Jayden's house!!

Jayden must have been a good boy this year because Santa definitely visited the Bettorf house this year.
We think that Jayden especially liked Santa's gift of a 4-wheeler. He wasn't really interested in the other presents under the tree.

Dada bought Jayden a sled which he enjoyed indoors. We can't even imagine how much fun he will have on it outside if it snows.

Christmas Eve - 2nd Stop

Our second stop tonight was at Nina's for our Christmas Eve celebration.

Santa supposedly downsized this year, but from the looks of his delivery we are not so sure he did.
Jayden coming down the stairs with Dada to see all of the presents under the tree.

Jayden and his favorite person in the whole world (Brooke) playing on top of a trash bag full of wrapping paper.

Christmas Eve - 1st Stop

Tonight was Christmas Eve and our first stop was to Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf's for the Hamilton family Christmas celebration.

Below, Allysa (Mike's cousin) hugs Jayden. She is 6 months older than Jayden and kept saying, "Hey, baby".

Jayden opening his gifts. You just have to love his facial expression...priceless!

First Trip to Marshfield

Today Mama and Dada took Jayden for his first trip to his Great-Grandpa's house in Marshfield, MO. I am sure there will be many more trips to come. I think Grandpa really enjoyed visiting with Jayden again (the last time he saw him was in May) and I think Jayden definitely wore Grandpa out. It was great for all of us to see Grandpa Green, as we miss him terribly.

Below Jayden gets pushed around on his bus by his new best friend.

"Hey Grandpa, why did you stop?"

Christmas Play at Church

Today we went to church and instead of going into the nursery Jayden got to stay for the Christmas show. Brooke was a hit (as usual) and did wonderful with her 4 solos. Jayden danced throughout the show and kept waving and pointing at Brooke. He was so glad to see her afterwards, as you can see from the picture below.

Christmas Picture

Tonight we attempted to get a good picture for our Christmas cards. Who knew it could be so difficult to get a 15-month old to smile and stand still at the same time?

O Christmas Tree

Tonight we went shopping for Jayden's second Christmas tree. It was very cold so we weren't picky. This weekend Mama & Dada will get it decorated.

Encounter with the Big Scary Man in Red

Today we took Jayden to see Santa. He wasn't very impressed so we had to opt to take a family picture with Santa. Who is this scary looking guy and why does he have so much more hair than me?
Hey, I have a hat like that one Mama.

First Santa Hat

Mama bought Jayden this hat and he just loves to wear it around the house.

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Its hard to believe that this is Jayden's second Thanksgiving already. He had a good time visiting with everyone and eating the good food...as he says "mmm".

Below Jayden watches intently as his Great Uncle Bob cut the turkey.
Here is Jayden with Nena and you can see her red cup (still Jayden's favorite) in the corner of the picture.
Jayden chewing on a carrot stick. I bet that felt good on those sore gums.

Above Jayden laughs as Mimi puts on Papi's hat. Jayden is spending the night at Mimi and Papi's tonight so Mama can go Christmas shopping tomorrow.
