Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we took Jayden and cousin Jacob to get their pictures taken. Jayden is 20 months old and Jacob is 16 months old. They are both starting to look like little boys instead of our little babies.

Remembering Nenapa

Today we are remembering Jayden's Nenapa. Unfortunately, we lost Nenapa one year ago today. However, we know he is looking down upon us and is with us in our lives everyday. There is no doubt that Jayden will know how special of a person he was and how much he loved Jayden.

New Big Boy Potty

Even though we know its going to be awhile before we attempt potty training, we bought Jayden a potty chair for him to become familiar with it. Tonight he decided he wanted to sit on it. He sat there for almost 20 minutes and thought it was the greatest thing. He is growing up so fast.

Sleepover with cousin Jacob

Last night we invited our nephew over to spend the night. Jayden and Jacob had a great time playing. Here are a few pics of them in their pajamas this morning.

Happy Easter

We had a busy but fun-filled Easter this year visiting with lots of family! We are so blessed.

Tonight Jayden decided to get the vaseline off the changing table and lubricate his pajamas. Don't you love the guilty face! I am sure it won't be the last time he gets into something he is not supposed to.

1st Official Easter Egg Hunt

This morning we took Jayden to church for his first official Easter egg hunt. We had breakfast at the church and then it was off to look for eggs. He squealed everytime he found one and he had to open each egg he found to see what was inside before putting it in his basket. He had a large fan club cheering him on, which included Mama, Dada, Mimi, Papi, Aunt Bev, cousin Traci, Brooke & Nathan. We all had a really good time!

Practice Run

We decided to hide Easter eggs around the living room to let Jayden practice "hunting for Easter eggs".

Tonight Jayden was riding on Dada's back. Don't you just love that smile! That's what Jayden does now if you point the camera at him or ask him to "Say Cheese". Gotta love it!

Cousin Jill's Baby Shower

Mama took Jayden to a baby shower today for her cousin Jill. He had a really good time and provided great entertainment for everyone.

Finally Outside

Today we took Jayden to the park down the street. It was so nice to finally have some fun outside.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Today Mama and Papi took Jayden to meet some friends of Mama's at the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown St. Louis. Jayden had a lot of fun. He enjoyed collecting the beads from the nice people in the parade and waving and blowing kisses to everyone. It was a cool day but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

We even got to see Fredbird in the parade.

Jayden Welcomes Sage!

Due to her age, Sage is officially retired from hunting so Mama & Dada agreed that she needs to be upstairs with the family. Jayden is thrilled to have Sage with him all of the time.

Tonight we got Jayden's new bath crayons out for the first time. Mama probably has false hope that his art is contained to the bathtub. Only time will tell!

Wearing Mama's Shoes

Tonight Jayden thought it would be funny to put on Mama's work shoes and walk around the house. Dada wasn't very enthused about the dress-up time but Jayden did amazingly well walking in heels.

Morning at the Zoo

It was in the lower 60's today in St. Louis so we took advantage of a break in the winter weather and spent a family day at the zoo. Jayden had a real good time and he recognizes so many more animals than he did when we went 5 months ago.

We enjoy the ride on the "Choo Choo Train".
