Trip to the Zoo

Today was Jayden's first trip to the zoo. Mama, Dada & Jayden had a good time!

Gathering for Great Uncle Bill

Tonight Nina grilled out and all of the extended family over for Jayden's Great Uncle Bill who is visiting from California. It was great to get to see him and Jayden had fun getting lots of attention and playing in Nina's yard.

Papi introduced him to this cute little girl in Nina's landscaping. We think Jayden had a crush!

Jayden is One!

Mama took Jayden this morning to get his pictures taken. Here are a few of them.

First Italian Fest Parade!

Today Mama and Dada took Jayden to his first parade and it was the infamous annual Italian Fest parade. Jayden loved looking at all of the other kids and even enjoyed the loud sounds of the fire truck sirens. Of course, Jayden had to wave at everyone in the parade as they walked by.

Mama was having to feed Cherrios to Jayden to keep him to sitting down while waiting. Dada got Jayden his first lollipop during the parade. Wow, did he like it!

A nice woman and her daughter gave Jayden these balloons as we were walking from the parade to go eat some good Italian food! The balloons were very occupying so we were very greatful!

First Trip to Chuck E Cheese

Since it rained all day, Mama and Dada thought it would be the perfect day to take Jayden to Chuck E Cheese for the first time.

Hurricane Ike

This morning we got hit with the remnants of Hurricane Ike. Here is Jayden looking at the rain out the front door. Then our little creek became a lake and eventually caused our side road to collapse.

First Wagon Ride

Today Mama & Dada took Jayden for his first real wagon ride. He had a good time looking at everything and then it was nap time before the Gamecocks game against Georgia this afternoon.

After naptime it was time to cheer on the Gamecocks and a little play time with his new birthday toys (only during commercial breaks, of course). Priorities!

New Wagon

Tonight Grandma & Grandpa Bettorf brought over the Cadillac of wagons (it comes with a cooler and cup holders). It was a birthday present that didn't come in time so Dada and Papa put it together so that Jayden could get a ride down the hallway and around the living room before it was time to go night night. He loved it! Mama and Dada will have to pull him to the park as soon as possible.

Brayden's 3rd Birthday

After Jayden's birthday party yesterday, Mama and Jayden (Dada went hunting) headed off to his friend's Brayden's birthday party.

1st Taste of Birthday Cake

Jayden's 1st Birthday Party

Today was Jayden's 1st birthday party and we believe it was a success. Thank you to everyone who celebrated the day with us. Jayden had a great time visiting with all of his friends and family.

Tonight was Jayden's birthday and we had a little celebration at home. This weekend we will have a big party for the big boy!

Mama & Dada gave that boy a few gifts on his actual birthday.

And in preparation of a birthday cake at his upcoming party Jayden enjoyed a cookie with some blue icing.
